If you are an international student interested in learning how to find an internship or start your career in the United States, the Global Gateways International Student Career Bootcamp will provide you with tips from three Ohio State alumni.
The webinar will be moderated by Abby Krummel, program coordinator, Global Gateways.
Webinar panelists
- Sarah Homan, immigration coordinator, Office of International Affairs at Ohio State. She will provide an overview of visa regulations.
- Qingyuan Dong '22 BS in business, '23 MA in accounting. He plans to pursue a master's in Human Resources Management at Ohio State in autumn 2024. Originally from Shanghai, Dong resides in Columbus, Ohio.
- Karan Bhasin, '09 BS in finance, and holds a footwear designing and technical footwear manufacturing diploma from the Arsutoria School in Milan, Italy. He is the managing director and CEO of J.K. Footwear, which is located in New York City. Bhasin holds several intellectual property and patents in the footwear domain. He is originally from Mumbai, India where he currently resides.
- Matheus Scuta, '17 BS in engineering, who also earned an MBA from Cornell University in 2023. He is a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Scuta resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
